A fuel spill blocked lanes of I-75 South in Peach County on Thursday

Two tractor trailers were involved in an accident that caused the spill, according to GDOT.

PEACH COUNTY, Ga. — A wreck on I-75 South between two tractor trailers caused a diesel fuel spill near Peach County on Thursday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. 

The crash occurred at Mile Marker 142 at SR 96. There is no information on if anyone was injured in the accident. . 

According to the GDOT 511 website the area should be cleared by 6 p.m.

The fuel spill has been cleared.
