WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A 29-year-old woman is in 'extreme critical condition' after being hit by a car Tuesday morning in Warner Robins.

According to a Warner Robins Police Department Facebook post, the accident happened on North Davis Drive at Vickie Drive around 6:58 a.m.

The department says the woman was crossing the road westbound on North Davis Drive outside of a crosswalk. A 49-year-old Macon driver in a 2014 Ford Fusion was traveling south on the inside lane of North Davis Drive when he hit her in the road.

Warner Robins Police Chief John Wagner says the woman was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health in Macon.

The post says no charges have been made at this point, and the traffic unit of the police department is still investigating.
