It doesn't look like this warm and dry weather pattern that we've been in is going to come to an end anytime soon. Monday is the first official day of fall. It will feel like fall in the morning with lows in the 50s and 60s, but the afternoon will be very summer-like with highs in the 90s.

As we go through the next 7 days, temperatures will be quiet warm by late September standards. Highs will climb to the mid to upper 90s through next weekend. Keep in mind our average high temperature this time of year in Macon is 84 degrees.

The 7 day rainfall outlook is almost bone dry. Models aren't showing much of anything.

Tropical Storm Karen is the latest storm to develop in the tropics. Karen is churning in the southern Caribbean sea as of Sunday evening. Karen will move toward Puerto Rico by Tuesday.

After Tuesday, we'll have to watch to see where this storm wants to go. Some models to turn it towards the Bahamas, but we've got a long way to go with this forecast.
