December comes in cold, but will warm up some by the weekend

Cold and breezy stuff tonight, then a cool and sunny day tomorrow.

MACON, Ga. — Good Thursday morning Central Georgia, and happy first day of the last month of 2022!

To start December, morning temperatures will run cold. Before walking out the door Thursday morning, make sure to grab the jacket. Temperatures will be in the mid 30s with feels like temperatures in the low 30s.

Through Thursday afternoon, the cool air sticks around. Highs will only climb to the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Friday looks great though! After another cold start in the 30s, we'll rebound back to average Friday afternoon in the mid 60s.

During the weekend, our semi-rainy and warm pattern sets up. A cold front  will try to roll through Saturday, bringing the chance for a sprinkle or two. That front looks to stall to our south and pull in moisture for Sunday.

For next week, we have the chance to see some rain every day, with Monday most likely being one of the rainiest days. So far though, the rain on Monday looks to be concentrated for places Macon and north.

So soak up the sunshine this week while you can!
