ATLANTA — A storm system swept across Alabama and Georgia on Thursday, bringing with it tornadoes from Selma to south metro Atlanta.
People from across the region were impacted, and captured dramatic videos of possible tornadoes or tornadic activity along the way.
In Georgia, at least two fatalities were confirmed as fearsome storms hit cities such as LaGrange and Griffin.
11Alive obtained several of these videos, which you can see below:
Tornado videos from Georgia and Alabama on Thursday
This was captured in Thomson, Georgia, just west of Augusta.
This was seen in LaGrange, Georgia outside the Great Wolf Lodge.
This video was from inside the airport at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. There weren't any confirmed tornadoes that touched down by the airport, but it did see funnel activity and there was a tornado warning issued in the area.
This was captured in Selma, Alabama.
This was taken near Pratville, Alabama.
This was observed near Heiberger, Alabama.
