FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities found a missing teen while investigating a child sex trafficking case over the weekend.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Matthew Humphries and charged him with trafficking in sexual servitude, interference with child custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Deputies received a call concerning a teen at an address in northeastern part of the county.
Authorities said the investigation led them to believe a 16-year-old girl was involved in prostitution and was a victim of sex crimes.
The teen was reported as a runaway from DeKalb County.
She was turned over to Department of Family and Children Services who is offering assistance to the family and the child.
A judge has set Humphries' bond at $12,395.
