A man tried to rob an Auto Zone in Macon Saturday morning.
It happened just after 10 a.m. at the store in the 3000 block of Vineville Avenue, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.
The man entered the store brandishing a pistol and demanded the clerk to give him money.
The clerk refused and the suspect fled on foot without getting anything.
No one was injured during the incident.
