Some people in Macon beat the heat and boogied down with some First Friday fun.
They shook, rattled, and rolled their way to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame for a First Friday dance sponsored by USA Dance.
The group gave a free group lesson. After the class ended, they showed off their new moves. Proceeds from the dance will benefit the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
The group also holds several other dances each month, including a 2nd Saturday, 3rd Friday, and 4th Sunday event. For more information on these and other events, visit their website.
