MACON, Ga. — Bibb deputies are investigating after a teen was shot and killed in the parking lot of 701 Greentree Parkway Friday.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the call came in just after 8 p.m. about a person shot in the area. When they made it to the scene, deputies found 18-year-old Montaveous Raines with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Raines was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Luann Stone.
