MACON, Ga. — UPDATE, 8 p.m.:
According to Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, the victims in the murder-suicide have been identified as Michael Reid, 43, of Merced, California, and Tammy Calhoun, 44, of Macon.

Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at a west Macon motel Wednesday afternoon.
According to Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened at the OYO hotel on Romeiser Drive around 2:20 p.m. Deputies found a man and woman dead inside a room with gunshot wounds.
The names of the victims have not been released yet, but Coroner Leon Jones says the woman is from the area and the man was from out of state.
He says it appears the man killed the woman first, then himself.
