Hot air balloons take off in Dublin for 15th Annual Hot Air Balloon Fest

Dublin hosts a Hot Air Balloon Fest each year during their St. Patrick's Day festivities.

You may have gotten around Central Georgia by car, plane or maybe even a train, but what about a hot air balloon?

The St. Patrick's Day Festival out in Dublin launched their 15th Annual Hot Air Balloon Fest on Saturday and it was truly a sight to see.

If you're wondering how big these balloons can get one balloonist told us that it would take around 77 thousand basketballs to fill up one up.

A field full of balloons as 14 pilots took to the sky.

From skimming across the river to floating among the clouds thousands of feet in the air... many flyers say there's no experience like it.

"It's a very free way to fly. You feel basically at one with nature, it's kind of like floating on a cloud and I just love the feeling of it you get away from everything," Stuart Enloe said.

If you weren't able to make it out to the festival today, no worries, just take a short drive to Atlanta and Enloe says he can get you in a balloon.

He flies 7 days a week as long as weather permits, click here for more information.
