FORSYTH, Ga. — A 15-year-old accused of killing his aunt in Monroe County appeared in court Friday morning.
Dontae Krieger is charged with felony murder stemming from an incident that happened over the weekend.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says they found Tryeflue O’Neal dead outside her home at Tingle Road on Sunday.
Deputies were following up on a tip from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina.
They say Krieger killed his aunt, then stole her car and drove it back to South Carolina.

Normally 15-year-old suspects are not identified, but because he’s been charged with a felony, he will be tried as an adult.
