Missing woman Bibb sheriff's office was looking for is now found

70-year-old Maria Angelica Lopez of Macon has been found safe.

MACON, Ga. — Update, 3:52 p.m. December 23:

According to a release by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, they were notified that 70-year-old Maria Angelica Lopez has been found safe and sound.

The Bibb county Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a woman who was last seen around 3 a.m. on Saturday, December 23.

70-year-old Maria Angelica Lopez went missing from a house in the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue.

Her family says she suffers from medical issues and does not speak english.

She is around 4 foot nine inches tall, and around 80-90 pounds. It is unknown what she was last wearing. 

She had gray hair, and a slender frame. Currently there are no signs of foul play, according to the sheriff's office.
