MACON, Ga. — After an eventful start to the week, we're clear for another afternoon today with plenty of blue skies. Winds will step down from yesterday's strong gusts, and only a steady breeze will be present today.
Friday, we will see some patchy frost develop in the morning due to temperatures in the low 30s. Mostly cloudy conditions will crowd the afternoon, with highs still in the 50s.
These clouds will hang around for the weekend while temperatures creep back above the 60-degree mark. Saturday and Sunday could see a few light showers and sprinkles if anything, but overall rain chances do not look impressive, especially compared to the dreary weather we started the week with.
We'll continue the warming trend into next week, where highs will climb back above average and eventually close to 70 degrees. We're anticipating multiple fronts passing through starting next week, but they look to be fairly weak and won't sprout widespread rain.
