MACON, Ga. — Its official - the 'beef' is finally over between many of Macon's restaurants.
The 2023 Burger Week People's Choice award Champion has been announced...and Grey Goose Players Cub will wear the crown as this year's champion.
Their creation, the "Hot Shot," was an 8oz CAB Gooseburger with the signature "sweet and smokey" habanero bacon jam, pimento cheese and topped with a fried green tomato.
In a post to Facebook, the Macon Burger Week organization congratulated the restaurant on it's new title, and said the people have spoken.
Grey Goose is located at 4524 Forsyth Road in Macon, and they are open from Monday - Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday - Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
