'I'm not a criminal': Macon woman describes search of home after 4 arrested in multi-agency operation

The Bibb Sheriff's Office and the U.S attorney's office says officers from several departments searched at least eight homes.

MACON, Ga. — A woman says she and two children were at home when law enforcement officers came and raided it as part of a drug and gun investigation. They included Bibb county deputies, Perry police, and FBI agents.

Yulisa Flores-Marcial says during an unexpected search of her home, she wasn't handed a search warrant at all. She only heard the sound of a tear gas canister exploding inside her home.

Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Flores Marcial says the FBI, Bibb County Sheriff's Office, and Perry Police Department surrounded her Glendale Avenue home.

"I was cooking, and when I saw noise outside, I came to look out this window and saw that it was the police," she recalled.

Flores-Marcial just had her daughter two months earlier. She heard a loud noise toward the back of the home and called to her niece who was playing in the kitchen.

She says a tear gas canister exploded just a few feet from the toddler.

"When I spoke to her and I wanted to go out through that door, but they didn't let me anymore. They grabbed me by force and I'm going to my baby and my niece. I get a strong push and I have a Caesarean section -- they hurt me and they took me outside," she said.

Flores-Marcial says she and the two children were held outside in the cold and rain for at least 4 hours. She says authorities tore apart her home, toppling drawers, clothes, and kitchen items.

The woman told 13WMAZ authorities made no arrests and took nothing from the home.

Now that the smoke has cleared, she wants to know why.

"Well, I don't know they did that to me, I'm not a criminal," the woman said.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they made no arrests.

The woman says she and her husband are now seeking legal advice. The sheriff's office, and the U.S attorney's office, says officers from several departments searched at least eight homes, and arrested four men on drug and gun charges.
