List: Georgia nursing homes, long-term care facilities with coronavirus outbreaks

Here is a list of long-term care facilities in Georgia with COVID-19 outbreaks.

MACON, Ga. — Georgia's Department of Public Health released an update April 12 saying 138 nursing homes and other long-term care sites in the state have reported coronavirus cases.

The state counts one COVID-19 case in a long-term care facility as an "outbreak." Those cases can be among staff or residents. 

On April 8, the agency reported 80 facilities had confirmed cases.

Here is a list of Central Georgia facilities with confirmed cases:

  • Carl Vinson VA Medical Center home, Dublin, 1 case
  • Eatonton Health and Rehab, Eatonton, 2 cases
  • Eastman Healthcare & Rehab, Eastman, 3 cases
  • Macon Rehab & Healthcare, Macon, 1
  • Pruitt Health Eastside, Macon, 1
  • Pruitt Macon, Anthony  Macon, 1
  • Pruitt Peake, Macon, 1
  • The Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, 6 cases
  • Zebulon Park Health and Rehab, Macon, 1 case, 2 deaths
