Pulaski Co. inmate found after escaping from jail

He also ran away from deputies on Saturday and was found in a drainage pipe.

An inmate escaped from the Pulaski County jail Monday morning and was captured less than two hours later.

According to Sheriff Danny Brannen, Timothy Raffield escaped around 11 a.m. and was found around 12:30 p.m.

Brannen says he was being taken from the jail to the administrative offices and slipped out a side door.

Tracking dogs from the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office found Raffield around 1,000 feet away from the jail.

Raffield was in jail for a probation violation and obstruction charge from Saturday when he ran from deputies and was found in a drainage pipe.
