Bibb County deputies have arrested two men in connection with a fatal shooting Friday.
Tarus Fair, 24, was shot to death just before 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Cynthia Avenue, near Cedar Street, according to a sheriff's office news release.
Quintavious Hutchings, 23, and Tony Ellis, 43, both of Macon, have been arrested and charged with felony murder, the news release states. Both are being held in the Bibb County jail without bond.
Hutchings and Ellis got into an argument that turned physical the news release states. The men started firing gunshots at each other and Fair was caught in the crossfire, the news release states.
By the time police responded to the call, they received another call from a person who dropped Fair off at Navicent Health Emergency Center.
