Shooting on Willis Drive in east Macon leaves 1 person injured, sheriff's office says

The victim is expected to survive, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

MACON, Ga. — A shooting near Willis Court in east Macon has left one person injured, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

In an email to 13WMAZ, the sheriff's office says it happened this morning.

 They say the victim is expected to be okay, and they are receiving medical treatment at a facility in Macon. 

They say the shooting is being investigated.
