Couri Worrells

Couri is a native of Macon and graduated high school from Northeast, where he played trombone in the Raider marching band.

MACON, Ga. — Couri Worrells is a Visual Storyteller for 13WMAZ. Joining the team in April 2024, Couri is currently finishing his degree in Mass Communications at Middle Georgia State University.

Couri is a native of Macon and graduated high school from Northeast, where he played trombone in the Raider marching band. Couri also graduated from Central Georgia Technical College with a degree in Aircraft Structural Technology.

Couri has worked for Mercer University Broadcasting on their Game-day Operations team. He has watched WMAZ, particularly Football Friday Night, for many years with dreams of one day being a part of the team.

During his downtime, Couri enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Hawks and Braves games, barbering, working-out, and experiencing new eateries. Couri strives to create positive change wherever he goes. His perspective and curiosity about life has inspired his love of learning. He says, “To serve the same community I grew up in is an honor and dream come true.”
