'Say Grace' | Video of a Central Texas girl and her dogs goes viral

A Central Texas toddler is making sure her dogs say a prayer before they can dig into their meals.

GEORGETOWN, Texas — One Central Texas toddler is teaching her three dogs the importance of gratitude.

A video on Instagram shows 3-year-old Alora Brim telling her dogs to 'Say Grace' before they can dig into their meals. Now, it's taking the internet by storm.

As of Jan. 5, the video has been viewed 16.1 million times and has more than one million likes.

3-year-old Alora learned the practice by mimicking her father after watching him practice it with their furry family members every day.

"She's been doing it for about a year now with various stages of success and independence," said Freddy Brim, Alora's father. "She's still not allowed to do it by herself, but in terms of hierarchy, she leads the pack."

Alora's mom, Katherine Brim, posted the video to Instagram back in December. The toddler has a different relationship with all three of her dogs, but the pups have shared a loving companionship with Alora since they joined the family, according to Brim.

"It was just a video I took to send to my parents and I just happened to post it," said Katherine Brim. Alora on the other hand, said she knew the video was going to go viral.

"It's hard to get the family together sometimes," said Katherine Brim. "So anything you can do to just kind of have a little gratitude for your beautiful life is worth it."
