16-year-old boy found dead in Milledgeville

Milledgeville Police Department found the teen in the front seat of a car with bullet holes.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — The Milledgeville Police Department is investigating a homicide involving a 16-year-old boy. 

According to a Facebook Post by Milledgeville PD, around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a shots fired call on the 2300 block of Anthony Way. 

While police were headed to the scene, they were told that multiple homes and cars were hit by gunfire. 

Several callers told dispatchers that people in a red Dodge Charger and dark blue Toyota Corolla were seen shooting from the cars. 

When officers arrived on the scene, they found bullet holes in a dark blue Toyota Corolla and a 16-year-old boy in the front passenger seat. 

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

While officers secured the crime scene, Baldwin County deputies saw a red Dodge Charger on Dunlap Road and conducted a traffic stop. 

The Dodge Charger had bullet holes and four people in the car were detained and taken to the Baldwin County jail.
