MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened at 6:14 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the press release, deputies were alerted about the shooting from a ShotSpotter alert. When they arrived they found 20-year-old Kealan Tre Hardeman with a gunshot wound in the 1400 block of Brentwood Avenue.
Hardeman was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where he was pronounced dead at 7:02 p.m.
No one else was injured.
Bibb County Sheriff investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident.
