All southbound lanes blocked after six-car crash on Highway 441 in Wilkinson County

Laurens County deputies are on the scene assisting with the crash.

WILKINSON COUNTY, Ga. — Update: 

All lanes of Highway 441 in Wilkinson County have been reopened after a six-lane crash. According to Sheriff Larry Dean, they reopened all lanes at around 2 p.m.

All lanes are blocked on Highway 441 in Wilkinson County after a six-car crash, according to a post from Laurens County Sheriff Larry Dean.

Dean said in the post that the crash happened at mile marker 3 in Wilkinson County, which is one mile north of Highway 112. All lanes southbound are closed. Northbound lanes were reopened at around 11:15 a.m.

Laurens County deputies are on the scene assisting with the accident, according to the post. 

They asked that those traveling in the area find an alternative route.
