HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — Lots of people gathered at Jessie E. Tanner Jr Park in Houston County on Saturday morning for their annual Relay For Life.
Many gathered to celebrate survivors, remember those lost, and come together as a community to end cancer.
People walked the track filled with luminary bags to honor family members and friends.
People could also cheer for local survivors on the first lap of the relay.
Relay For Life is the world's largest volunteer-based fundraising event. For more then 36 years, communities across the world have come together to honor and remember loved ones and take action for lifesaving change.
