Junior Journalist Ellie Ruth Mullis goes to Iceland

Hot (or cold) off the heels of a trip to Iceland, Junior Journalist Ellie Ruth Mullis is sharing her experience

For most people, summer vacations mean warm sunshine and white sand beaches, but Junior Journalist Elinor Ruth Mullis and her family took a different route.

From walking black sand beaches to exploring the marvels of Iceland's waterfalls, the land of fire and ice was a trip the Mullis family won't ever forget.

They got up close and personal with whales by sailing out to sea, and trekked through bays full of glaciers.

Their vacation may be over, but here in Central Georgia, Judy Norman is helping people whose vacations have not yet begun.

At Classy Destinations, Norman plans anything from trips around the United States to those that are a little more uncommon.

"Right now, I'm a planning trip to Galapagos islands for a family," Norman said.

She says places like Mexico and Costa Rica are hot spots right now.

Norman says you don't have to travel far and wide to have a good time.

"You can go to the Caribbean and have just as much fun as if you go all the way across the world," Norman said.

From Dubai to the beaches, putting people on planes, trains, and cruises, Norman plans it all. She says her job helps people make memories that last a lifetime.

"The world is a book and those who don't travel only read one page," Norman said.
