Schools announce early release times ahead of severe weather in Central Georgia. Full list

The 13WMAZ weather team will be tracking these storms as they move through the area.

MACON, Ga. — Severe storms will be in the picture for Thursday evening into Friday morning. 

Here are the schools closing, releasing early or planning for asynchronous learning days throughout Central Georgia.

Twiggs County Public Schools:

  • They will be releasing at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Wilkinson County Public Schools:

  • They will be releasing at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
