A Macon man was pronounced dead at a local hospital Sunday after he was found lying in the pool of his home.
According to chief deputy coroner Lonnie Miley, the wife of 54-year-old Jessie Johnson said he was doing yard work at his home located at 205 William and Mollies Walk in west Macon. About 45 minutes to an hour later, she said she found him in the pool.
Johnson was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room around 1 p.m.
Miley said it's been ruled as accidental, but an autopsy will be performed.
