Burglars made off with about $200 in beer Friday after breaking into Twang restaurant, 342 Rose Ave.
One of the owners of the Macon business was called by someone who lives in the area who told him that the front doors were wide open, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office incident report.
When a deputy showed up, he noticed that a door leading to a small room was open. Frozen food and liquor were stored in the room. The deputy reported a trail of full beer cans leading from the restaurant to the railroad tracks.
