In his capacity as Secretary of State, Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp visited south Georgia election offices this weekend.
Kemp says several of those counties may not begin early voting because of the damage after Hurricane Michael.
He told reporters after seeing the devastation, he realizes early voting is not the main priority for those counties.
Kemp says many county governments are ordering their election offices not to open unless they have power and water.
Secretary Kemp visited with election leaders in Dougherty, Seminole, Miller, and Early counties.
