While Ricky Dubose and Donnie Rowe are in custody, we took a closer look at the Georgia Department of Corrections most wanted fugitives list.

Two of the five most wanted are from Central Georgia.

They went missing from the Macon Transitional Center, but the website doesn’t say how long authorities have been looking for the two men.

Marcus Johnson was arrested in Baldwin County in 2010 for aggravated stalking, aggravated assault, simple battery, and cruelty to children.

He began his sentence in 2011 and was expected to be released in 2020.

Yancey Tanner was arrested in Butts County in 2006 for two counts of attempted armed robbery and three counts of aggravated assault.

He began his sentence in 2007 and was expected to be released in 2016.

According to the state's website, the Macon Transitional Center houses around 150 inmates who are assigned to work-release programs.

They work at jobs in the community, but need to return to the transitional center each night.

This is one of 13 transitional centers in the state. They also offer academic, counseling, recreation, religious activities, and vocational services.

The DOC website does not say when the two men escaped from the center.

WMAZ reached out to the Department of Corrections on Monday for further details on the two criminals, but have not heard back
