UPDATE: NWS confirms EF- 1 tornado struck Warner Robins

UPDATE: National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in a half mile north of Centerville and ended a half mile north of Warner Robins. It packed winds of about 90 miles per hour. It is still to be determined if the tornado crossed over Robins Air Force Base.

The tornado was on a 4.2 mile path and lasted eight minutes from 7:42 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.

The National Weather Service at Peachtree City has confirmed that a tornado struck Warner Robins on Friday morning.

They also confirmed that a tornado struck parts of Crawford and Taylor counties too.

They will continue to survey the damage and will release a full report by Monday. It will include the rating, track, and size of the tornado.

It is still undetermined as to exactly how many tornadoes tracked through Central Georgia on April 1, 2016.
