A few scattered rain showers to end the weekend Sunday

Over the next few days we will slowly be getting drier weather.

MACON, Ga. — A low-pressure center looks to establish itself along the Georgia/South Carolina Stateline today. This will create some counterclockwise rotation around the center, and sprout some afternoon scattered showers and maybe a couple of rumbles of thunder within them.

Monday will kick off a mainly dry day. This will also be the beginning of a warming trend of a few degrees everyday. Highs on Monday are forecasted in the low to mid 80s.

We're back to flirting with the 90-degree mark on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We're keeping an eye on a front looking to approach at the end of next week, but long range models aren't hinting at too much of an impressive rain chance. Still with many graduations at the end of this week, go ahead plan on bringing the rain gear for the end of the week.
