MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — A lot of folks are 'beefing' up their dinner options this week in Milledgeville. It's Milly Burger Week!
13 eateries are preparing specially made burgers, all of which will be available for $9. Burger Week lasts nine days so you have time to try as many burgers as you want.
One place offering a burger in the lineup this week is Greene Street Pool Tavern.
They have 'The Savory' burger, which is a burger topped with lots of savory sides on top!
You can grab the burger with fries for $9, or pair it with a draft beer for $12.
Owner of the tavern, Timothy Settle, says what they have to offer is sure to tempt your taste buds.
"So our burger for $9 includes fries, its a quarter 100% beef patty with fried onions, fried pickles, mozzarella, chipotle ranch, served on a brioche bun," he said.
You can find Greene Street Pool Tavern at 120 W Greene St. in downtown Milledgeville. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 2 a.m.
They have karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30, and Settle said it is a great way to hang out with friends and have fun.
"It's a great fun environment and very laid back, it's a good place to chill," said Settle.
This year's burger is the Thai Royal Burger. It's a seasoned Angus beef patty with homemade curry mayo, lettuce, a hash brown patty, white cheddar, bacon, caramelized onions, and avocado.
