A Macon man will spend 20 years behind bars after being found guilty of raping a pre-teen girl in 2015.

According to a news release from the district attorney’s office, jurors found 26-year-old Quantez Dixon guilty of statutory rape following a four-day trial. They did, however, find him not guilty of aggravated child molestation and two counts of child molestation.

Prosecutors showed evidence during the trial that Dixon and an adult female co-defendant told the 12-year-old girl to get naked and perform sex acts on him while the woman got off from watching.

The girl told a family member about the incident in Oct. 2016 and an investigation began.

Dixon’s female co-defendant confirmed the girl’s account of events. She pleaded guilty to child molestation last year and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
