Sheriff: Man on the run after allegedly choking woman at a home in Payne City

The man apparently slipped out the back of the house before the deputies arrived.

MACON, Ga. — Bibb County deputies are looking for a man who allegedly choked a woman til she passed out, according to an incident reporter from the sheriff’s office.

The report says it happened just before 10 a.m. on Monday on Comer Terrace in Macon’s Payne City neighborhood.

A woman told investigators that Darion Hudson came to her home with a gun and would not leave. When she spoke to the landlord, she said Hudson locked her out of the house with her three children inside.

She said he had been abusing her all weekend and choked her earlier with both hands on her neck. Hudson apparently slipped out the back of the house before deputies arrived. Now there are warrants against him for aggravated assault, cruelty to children and false imprisonment.

Anyone with information on Hudson can call Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 1-877-68-Crime.
