23-year-old man shot and killed in east Macon early Wednesday morning

The shooting happened just before 4:30 a.m.

MACON, Ga. — A man was shot and killed in east Macon early Wednesday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

He was found unresponsive in the 3000 block of Ruark Circle just before 4:30 a.m., located between Riggins Mill Road and Jeffersonville Road. 

Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced 23-year-old Brian Rashad Obama dead at the scene. 

The shooting is under investigation. 13WMAZ will provide additional updates when they are made available.
