GBI, Laurens County deputies investigating homicide

Investigators say the homicide happened over the weekend

DUBLIN, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting Laurens County with a suspected homicide that happened Sunday.

According to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, it happened in the eastern part of the county on Salter Moon Road.

Capt. Chris Bracewell says someone went to check on the victim, identified as 69-year-old J. W. Robinson, and found him dead.

Bracewell added they have a couple of possible suspects, but no arrests have been made.
