The Allman Brothers have a song titled 'Dreams' where they sing "I'm hung up on dreams I'll never see," so two organizations are coming together to make dreams come true.
Habitat for Humanity and the Big House Museum are coming together to work side-by-side to help build a needy family a home in Macon in a joint project called Making Dreams Come True.
Putting up weeds and clearing the land is just one of the accomplishments they're covering on Saturday.
Executive director of Habitat for Humanity, Ivey Hall, says seeing the teamwork is inspiring especially when it's for such a outstanding family.
"Our mom for this family is a teacher at a neighborhood school and her kids go to the neighborhood schools already, so it's just a really great opportunity for them to make the next big step in their lives," she said.
