The GHSA Class A-Private Baseball final four matchup between Macon rivals FPD and Tattnall finally took place Thursday after several days of rain delays.
Tattnall swept FPD in two straight games, 13-4 and 10-0.
The Trojans’ Luke Laskey was the game winning pitcher in game 1. Both Trey Ham (Tattnall) and Dalton Cox (FPD) homered in the contest -- Ham a three-run shot and Cox a grand slam in the 6th.
In game two Tattnall’s Brooks Norman threw a two-hitter while blasting a two run home run to pace the Trojans to a 10-0 victory.
This is the third straight GHSA title game appearance for Tattnall.
The championship series will take place Tuesday May 22nd at Mercer’s OrthoGeorgia Park vs. Prince Avenue with a 5 p.m. start.
