The Georgia Bulldogs will make their 11th trip to the NCAA tournament and will host a regional for the 5th time. The Dawgs earned the 8th seed in the tournament, the fourth time the program has received a national ranking for the tournament.
UGA will open play against Campbell Friday night at 7:30, while Duke and Troy will play the first game of the Athens regional at 2 o clock.
UGA is one of 10 SEC teams in the tournament, the most of any conference. The Dawgs have advanced to the college world series 4 times.
