Accident on I-75 North in Macon blocks 2 lanes of traffic

The accident is on I-75 northbound past the I-475 interchange.

MACON, Ga. — An accident on I-75 North is blocking two lanes of traffic in Macon.

That's according to a Facebook post from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The agency says the accident is on I-75 northbound past the I-475 interchange. It's by mile marker 156 and it's blocking two of three lanes. 

It is expected to take about an hour to clear.

Call 511 Georgia for help finding alternate routes.

Troup County UPDATE - on overturned tractor trailer full of car part... s is still blocking all lanes on I-85 southbound just before the Georgia 18 interchange (MP 3). Traffic is being diverted around the scene at the KIA Boulevard exit (MP 6), returning to I-85 at Georgia 18 (MP 2).
