31-year-old man found shot to death inside his car in Fitzgerald

He was found inside his car at a stop sign.

FITZGERALD, Ga. — A man is dead after a shooting in Fitzgerald, according to the GBI

31-year-old Markevios D. Jenkins was shot and killed just before 3 p.m. Sunday on  East Sultana Drive in Ben Hill County. 

When officers arrived they found a white Kia stopped at a stop sign after a shots fired call went out. Jenkins was found inside the car and was unresponsive in the driver's seat with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
