2 dead in apparent murder-suicide in Milledgeville, coroner's office says

It happened Monday night between a "couple going their separate ways," according to Steve Chapple with the Baldwin County Coroner's Office.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Milledgeville Monday night, according to Steve Chapple of the Baldwin County Coroner's Office.

He said it happened on Old Stage Road between 7 p.m. and midnight.

According to Chapple, it involved a "couple going their separate ways."

Chapple says they are still gathering more information and the investigation is ongoing. 

They'll be taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy, Chapple said

The next of kin has been notified.
