My Teacher is Tops: Miss Haley Rosenberg at Mattie Wells Elementary in Jones County

Miss Haley Rosenberg has been teaching for four years.

MACON, Ga. — We're just a couple of weeks into the new year and students are just getting into the swing of things.

One Jones County student wanted 13WMAZ to know his teacher has helped him grow in the first My Teacher is Tops nomination of 2024.

Miss Haley Rosenberg has been teaching for four years and she loves teaching second grade.

She teaches all subjects but says English Language Arts or ELA is her favorite.

Rosenberg loves spending time with her students and seeing their smiling faces every single day.  She certainly has made a difference to one student, Otis Duncan.

He and his mom nominated Miss Rosenberg because she has helped him so much in the classroom and challenged him to be a great student.

"My name is Otis Duncan. I am autistic. I'd like to nominate my teacher Miss Rosenberg for my teacher is tops. She loves all of us and helps us every day," he said in his letter.

Rosenberg said she was shocked to receive a nomination. She told 13WMAZ just a few of the reasons she loves teaching second grade.

"I love their imaginations. I love their positivity, their outlook on life," she said.

Congratulations Miss Rosenberg.
