Officer injured in accident after shots fired, chase in Warner Robins, city says

Four people are in custody. The chase happened following a drive-by shooting.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Four people were arrested in Warner Robins after a drive-by shooting and chase that ended in an officer-involved accident, according to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

At just after 12:30 p.m., Warner Robins Police Department responded to shots fired at 303 Peachtree Circle.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene and a chase began. The chase ended in an accident at 332 Woodland Drive, about three miles away.  

The Georgia State Patrol is on the scene investigating the accident. The four suspects are in custody. The officer involved in the accident but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time. 

Names are currently being withheld.
