Perry Leisure Service welcomes community for special needs egg hunt on Saturday

There were egg hunt zones designed for special needs children, like beeping eggs for the visually impaired.

PERRY, Ga. — Lots of kids and families gathered in Rozar Park in Perry on Saturday for a special needs egg hunt hosted by Perry Leisure Service.

Starting at 11 a.m., families could search for eggs in one of three different zones: exceptional, tradition, and visually impaired. There were toy filled eggs in some sections, and beeping eggs for the visually impaired.

Siblings and family members were also welcome to take part in the hunt, with over 2,000 eggs to go around.

In addition to the hunt, there were also local vendors, family games and activities, and more.

There were also workers and volunteers at the event from USG Water Solutions in Perry.

It was the 6th time hosting the event, and over 150 kids attended last year.
