Teen arrested, charged after burglary on Mercer University Drive

It happened just after 11 p.m. at Mercer Vape and Tobacco.

MACON, Ga. — A teen was arrested and charged on Friday after a burglary on Mercer University Drive, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. 

They say it happened just after 11 p.m. at Mercer Vape and Tobacco.

Deputies were able to apprehend the 16-year-old after a short foot chase. 

Once taken into custody he was found with stolen items from the business. 

The teen was taken to the RYDC and charged with Burglary.
