Here's what we know.

MACON, Ga. — A truck crash has shut down I-16 westbound in Macon due to a truck fire, according to GDOTS 511.

According to 511,  it is near the I-16 exit on MLK Boulevard.

They say it happened at around 7:13 p.m., and they expected it to be closed until at least 7:43 p.m..

While those were the original numbers, as of 9:25 p.m., I-16 Westbound is still completely shut down. The end time has been pushed back repeatedly.

One lane on I-16 eastbound was shut down as well, according to 511.

Right now, we don't know much about the crash except for photos of the crash which have come into the newsroom.

It shows a truck on its side on fire.

This is a developing story. We will provide more updates as they become available.
